Kellogg Institute for International Studies
Part of the University of Notre Dame, the Kellogg Institute explores democracy and human development around the globe and is renowned for its Visiting Fellowship program.

The Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame, is an interdisciplinary community of scholars and students from across the University and around the globe that promotes research, provides educational opportunities, and builds partnerships throughout the world on the themes of global democracy and integral human development.

Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellowships


Former Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellow Margarita Lopez MayaSince 1983, the Kellogg Institute has offered a competitive residential visiting fellowships to experienced scholars, junior scholars, and practitioners, as well as to post-doctoral scholars. Kellogg Visiting Fellowships afford scholars and practitioners time, space, and a range of support to move research forward in an interdisciplinary community of scholars. The competition for 2025-26 academic year Visiting Fellowships will open on August 1 and close on October 1, 2024. Kellogg Institute Working Papers

The Kellogg Institute Working Paper Series is a public good created to assist individual scholars and contributes to international comparative social science scholarship by allowing for publication, dissemination, and discussion of new research on a relatively fast track – more quickly than the usual timelines for publication of articles in journals or books. Papers are free to read and download on the Kellogg website here.
