The 2025 IPSA World Congress of Political Science will be held at the Coex Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea as an onsite event from 12-16 July 2025 under the theme Resisting Autocratization in Polarized Societies.

The call for proposals (open and closed panels) for the 2025 IPSA World Congress of Political Science will open on 10 July 2024.
We welcome panel proposals (open and closed) on any subject in political science and look forward to featuring special events and panels focused on the Congress theme Resisting Autocratization in Polarized Societies. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to share your work with peers and to meet political scientists worldwide.

Last year, IPSA revised its individual membership fee structure to more accurately reflect the diverse financial realities of our global membership.

The IPSA individual membership fee structure was completely redesigned and modernized to better respond to the various financial capacities of our global membership. IPSA individual membership is now branched into four groups (A, B, C and D) based on the country of residence.

Authored by some of the most outstanding academics in the IPSA community, IPSAMOOC is a joint project with Federica Web Learning that offers free online political science courses. Since its launch in 2016, over 100,000 people worldwide have benefited from IPSAMOOC courses in English and Spanish on the largest MOOC providers, Coursera and edX.

IPSA Summer Schools give social sciences scholars access to high-quality advanced training in qualitative and quantitative research methods in social and political science. To help students advance their methodological skillset and establish connections with peers from all over the world, IPSA collaborates with local universities worldwide since 2010 to organize summer schools in methodology. IPSA presently offers seven annual summer schools: Antalya, Naples, Mexico City, São Paulo, Santiago de Compostela and Singapore. IPSA also organizes the IPSA-Concordia Summer Institute in Applied Diplomacy in Montréal.  Find out more!

Established in 1980, the International Political Science Review (IPSR) is committed to publishing peer-reviewed articles that significantly contribute to political science.
