An Argentine film director obtains a scholarship and travels to Mexico for seventy days to produce a documentary project about literacy education in indigenous communities in Latin America. For ten weeks, the documentary filmmaker records a travel diary that is influenced by an unexpected vision he has from the window of his hotel: a bust of his distant uncle, Ernesto Guevara de la Serna. With this imprint, he observes the world around him and, within himself, his relationship with his daughter in times of family and patriarchal decline.
