Where can we escape to in a system where there is no outside? The film disturbs and confronts the myths of social cohesion and racial democracy in Brazil. Playing with a spiral of visual archives, complemented with the voices of activists, politicians and intellectuals, the film proposes an invitation to think about the practice and notion of “quilombo”, as it is reactivated and reinvented today.
