The film is a social drama, a "road movie" on foot. It narrates the journey in search of help that Juana and Carmela, two pregnant women, undertake from a peripheral neighbourhood where they live on the border, to the hospitals, one in Argentina and the other one in Brazil. On this journey they will encounter the lack of solidarity and the absence and abandonment of the States, a situation that leads them to find change and create a strong friendship.
