Brothels are rarely considered safe or dignifying. In the red-light district of Bogotá, in a country torn by decades of war, there is a small brothel that functions as a refuge, offering protection to sex workers. The film builds an intimate portrait of this neighborhood, and the fierce will of its inhabitants to survive and thrive.
